The northern section of Line 17 declared to be of public interest
Following the southern section at the end of 2015, the northern section of Line 17 of the Grand Paris Express was also declared to be in the public interest in a decree published in the Official Journal. This 20km section will extend from the current RER station in Le Bourget through to Mesnil-Amelot to the north of Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport. The full line is due to come into service by 2030 with a first stage in 2024 for the section from Saint-Denis Pleyel to Charles de Gaulle Airport. The board of enquiry has also recommended further extending the line to Nanterre-la-Folie after 2030.
