Environment : a high-performing city but with low energy consumption

Grand Paris is a sustainable development project for the Greater Paris Region. The aim is to create a sustainable city that is concerned about the environment and that meets the objectives for ecological transition. To protect green spaces, the project will favour construction on brown-field sites.

The future public transport network will offer alternatives to car travel and will lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. It will also lead to greater equality between areas and open up more outlying territories. It will also allow residents greater mobility and reduce their daily journey times.
