Although the CDT project has, to date, not been validated, the framework agreement between the French state, the mayors of the towns and the Prefect of the Greater Paris Region was signed on May 14th, 2012.
So far, the only detailed objective that has been disclosed is to build around 600 residential units annually over the next six years.
The framework agreement sketches three projects (development, infrastructure and economic growth) on the following sites:
- Within the La Défense renewal plan, the Porte Ouest area in Puteaux (in particular, the Bergères district) and the Porte Est area in Courbevoie (Cœur de ville operation and Bécon-les-Bruyères station);
- La Défense’ circular boulevard, key to engaging in a dialogue with municipal districts;
- The Seine area and the launch of La Défense-on-Seine (La Défense sur la Seine).
